Future's Past
About this artwork
The shoreline is silent. A red light falls onto me, cutting through the cold Icelandic night. For a moment it feels as if time itself has stopped here. The landscape remains ancient and indifferent, yet the light suggests something else - a signal, a crossing point between what was and what will be. For a second I cannot tell whether I am witnessing the birth of a future or the echo of a past that refuses to disappear.
